TrueWeather starts with the best local forecast model for the selected place, compares it with regional models where available, and uses radar nowcasting for the next hours when live radar data exists. Probability is treated as confidence; severity comes from rain amount, wind, thunderstorms, snow, freezing rain, and radar intensity.
What the weather labels mean
Clear or mostly sunny describes only the current sky and does not guarantee 24 rain-free hours. Bad weather risk covers the next 24 hours. It combines hourly and total rain, rain chance when rain is forecast, wind, thunderstorms, snow, freezing rain, and live radar intensity where available. Scores 0-34 are low, 35-69 moderate, and 70-100 high. Drizzle remains visible in the chart but contributes only a small amount to the risk.

Why this is more reliable
The app does not rely on one provider blindly. It prefers sources that are geographically relevant to the place, then cross-checks model agreement and short-range radar signals. For Germany this means DWD-relevant model and radar data are weighted especially strongly.
